How Zoning Laws Affect Your Business
What you can do with and build on any piece of property is limited by city and county zoning ordinances. These laws can be confusing, seemingly contradictory, and subject to widely varying interpretation, application and enforcement by government officials. These laws can prevent you from using your property or developing it the way you want, and violations can lead to expensive fines, costly work stoppages, and in some cases having to tear down a brand-new building.
In Arizona, they say “whiskey is for drinking and water is for fighting.” Legal access to water in Arizona is limited and necessary to use your property. If you own or plan to buy property that doesn’t already have water utility service, or that uses a private or shared well, you need to understand whether you can legally and physically access the water you need.
We can guide you through the maze, overcome the obstacles, and get you the approvals and results you need.
